Ingredients:
I block of extra firm tofu
1-2 tablespoons of liquid aminos or soy sauce
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder (you could also use fresh)
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Squeeze out tofu with hands, towel, or tofu press.
- Slice tofu into bite-sized chunks.
- In a shallow bowl or plate, place tofu and pour over liquid aminos, oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Use your hands to toss and make sure all the tofu is covered.
- Allow to marinate 15 minutes (although you can skip this step)
- Preheat the air fryer or spray with cooking spray. This will helps prevent sticking the tofu to the pan.
- Cook on french fry mode or 400 degrees for 18 minutes, give or take.
- Make sure to shake every few minutes or so.
- Serve over rice bowls, salads, or just as a snack.
