Carrot Apple Juice: Simple, Cheap, and Healthy

One of my favorite juices to make each day is carrot apple. I seriously love green juice, but that can get expensive. I needed a juice that tasted good, was going to overload me on nutrition and didn’t break the bank. It turns out carrots are GREAT for you in every way from skin to immune health. I hope you love it as much as I do.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds of carrots
  • 3 green apples
  • 1 chunk of ginger
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Method: For a juicer

  1. Clean carrots and slice into chunks. You should peel them if they are not organic.
  2. Quarter apple, seeds and all.
  3. Add carrots, apples, and ginger to the juicer.
  4. Add lemon juice to the pitcher.

Method: For a blender

  1. Clean carrots and slice into chunks. You should peel them if they are not organic.
  2. Quarter apples, seeds and all.
  3. Add carrots, apples, and ginger to the blender.
  4. With a fine strainer press through a strainer and into a bowl. You could also use a nut milk bag to strain the juice as well.

CHEERS!

Here is the juicer we own, you can find it on Amazon. I would suggest buying a nicer one with better reviews. I initially made the mistake of buying a cheap one at Walmart that didn’t juice well and ended up giving it away. Save up and buy a nice one!
